    P-38 serial number question

    I saw a P-38 with a serial nr. of #### i . I haven't seen the i before in a serial number. Is that normal?

    1234i Very normal... Numbers went to 9999 then a letter sufix was assigned.. Very normal... BILL

      Great, because I committed to it on AA. AC 42 matched. I hope I did alright.

        AC42 with an "i" is fine.

        I had one a while back,, Wish I had that Walther now.

                I tell you, what they were wanting for them around here was about $100 plus more than that. Don't know why. Everything ordnance and firearms wise that's German from the WW2 era is getting scarce.
