k98, code desirability

Gentlemen,
Two matching k98s of equal condition. One being a svw45 and the other a svw45/MB. Which would be the more desirable code? Thanks to all replies.

I would say svw45 as the other one (svw45/mb) were post war assembled by the French....Bodes

The answer should be get both, but I would spring for the svw45.

Actually, some svwMBs were produced by the Germans very late. If the subject rifle is one of those, it is well worth getting as they are very scarce. Here is a link to info and pictures of one that I had in the past:

IMO they're similar desirability so I'd make my decision based on other features/condition.

If same condition and that condition is above 90% I would pick the SVW MB
