Walther pp with holster and capture papers - value request

    Hey folks,

I am asking for an honest retail price on this rig. Thanks in advance.

This is a vet bring back from a 101st Airborne vet. I have seen the capture paperwork, but I don't have a photo.

Due to a post war chrome job it's not worth as much as if it had its original finish. Not a collector piece but rather a shooter quality PP.

Could this gun be what is described as "in the white" as a late war ,non walther logo version from 1944-45? I don't think this pistol has been chromed. It looks good to me as a late war example. Very nice gun as it was found .
Are the bring back papers showing the serial number of this gun?

I like this gun, I'd own it in a heartbeat! I love these late war examples

OK what am I missing? Looks like original finish for late war!

Where did the "Chrome" and "in the white" come from?

Does the documentation come with the pistol? would make a difference on value.

Wow - if you can confirm all the pieces came together, what a beautiful grouping! [ love the big brass Bastogne badge - and can't wait to see the rest of the insignia, being shown in the box!]

Not chromed - just a fairly nice late war finish. I am estimating it to be an 85% gun.

Yes, the capture papers come with the gun.

Any thoughts on collector pricing on the Walther?

I'll throw out a number though I'm no pp expert....$12-1300 range IMO. But the papers must list the guns serial number, without that I don't think it adds much as it can't be proven to go with the gun.

I was offered one for sale ,with 60-70 % finish no holster or papers for $500
