Fair price on a K43 stock

I have been offered a K43 stock (which I have a rifle for) and need to know FMV on the wood. What do these go for?

These are made of "Near unobtanium."
Huge demand.
How bad do you want it?

Unfortunately fair amount of wood for this wood My K43 has a chopped stock to take a rubber postwar butt pad.

My advice is to just pay his price. So few ever reach the market I can't even tell you a value.

The last one I saw was about 175 dollars, that was also about 25 years ago. I don't remember for sure but I think the rifles were 400ish dollars back then. So, if you want to look at it that way, it was about half of the value of the complete rifle. They were tough to find back then but not impossible, now days, this is probably your only chance!
