    MG ammo drums original?

    Dear collectors

I bought these from the WAF forum however a few people I know informed me that they are repainted ammo drums......

Now I am getting confused and I was hoping to have your input guys - I have asked the seller before I bought it but he assured me they where originals....

So please let me hear your thoughts!

It's strange that heavy paint they put on I have couple like that.

The drum that has the cotter pin has a WW2 date and factory code on it.

The drum that has a hex nut on the center has no date or code.

I always figured it was one wartime one post war drum, painted sometime after the war to match.

Thanks guys for the input and unfortunately the link has been deleted; I have requested the administrator to put it back on

I am afraid I bought indeed a potential repaint despite my several questions if it was genuine, but I can tell 100% when I receive the package.

But please let the discussion continue
