P38 Serial # 3688c

Just picked up a P38 serial number 3688c marked on slide and marked 3688c on trigger housing, Has a nice hard shell holster, matching mag with extra mag not marked. high polish finish and all matching. Can you tell me about it and approximate value. Thanks in advance.

I assume it is marked "ac41" on the left side of the slide?

As to value, it is a lot about condition and originality so pictures would be a big plus to give you good answers.

Leon is correct, given the info, it should be an "AC41".
