    One of my favorite 'Oldies'

This is way earlier than WWII but I like it as it is one of the last firearms the "Imperial British Army" got to use before they started letting everything go. it is of course the famous Martini Henry Long Lever in .577-450. The projectiles sound like very large bumble bees as they caroom down range.

It is over 5.5 feet long from butt to tip of bayonet!

Everything is original to the rifle except the bayonet which is a replacement dated 1889.

The bayonet is of course made by Wilkinson Sword Company.

                Hi Danny,

Yessir! Here is a spear that came with the rifle. I was told it was Zulu, but it looks more Matabele to me.
