              Correct! Yeah its pretty accurate in detail and weight and genuine mp40 magazines fit into it aswell. Never fired mine and probably never will. Got it in display in my miniscule collection.

                Hi Rob, they are a good example of the MP40, but they aren't any where near the weight of an MP40. It is a shame that originals cost so much in the UK, even a welded late deact is making £700.00 Tim.

                  It is nice. I have one, along with my "dummy" gun from kit parts. The Marushin's are on the light side of a real one. Remember the Marushin has a plastic barrel and receiver. I wish our gun laws would at least allow us to have a complete system for display w/o the receivers all being cut up to pieces.

                    I saw a new spec mp.40 yesterday for £900........!!!!
                    And an old spec mp.38 for £4000.........!!!!!!
                    GEEEZUS.............

                      Yeah my Marushin thing cost me £275 I should have bought an original K98 deact for that! But anyway its the closest Ill get to an MP40 in a while!.

                          I picked up my Marushin in 1985 in Okinawa while in the Marines. I think I gave about 75 bucks for it. I used it a couple of times giving classes, where I blasted away on full auto at a stunned room full of Marines! And, my original mags fit in mine as well. It's as close as I'll ever get to the real thing.
