    Salty Luger Holster for Review

I saw this on ebay, I know it is salty and is missing straps on the back, but is it original? I have been looking for an affordable holster and if I get this I can probably have it repaired.

It looks original all right. Most likely a Norwegian capture, as it appears to have had the original belt loops removed, and a GI belt hanger riveted to it.

If interested, you could restore this holster and make it look original. Jerry Burney does excellent work, and has done several of these for me.

I agree with you Matt. Is that holster dated 1943?

You could repair this holster but because of the added holes in the back it could never be returned to it's original condition. In my opinion it would be better to wait and find a nicer one that may cost more.
