Beretta MP38A

Hi, I have a friend who has a Beretta MP38A which is deactivated but the barrel jacket is bent and damaged ( a vehicles must have run over it ) . He wants to replace the damaged jacket with another one but needs advice how to fit it. He is not a member here so I am posting on his behalf , thanks.

I've only done one and that was a few years ago. If I remember correctly you have to knock out the pin or pins that hold the muzzle break/front sight assembly, then unscrew it, the barrel jacket should then pull out.
