Holster for Rast&Gasser?

    Holster for Rast&Gasser?

    I picked this Holster up today.......there was apperantly a Frommer Stop in it, but it was empty when I go it. Several ink stamps inside the flap. I thought first it would be a pistol Holster, but it seems to be a Holster for the small Rast&Gasser austrian Revolver which was used by the k.u.k. troops in WW1. The Holster had a sling on it, but was altered to be worn on the belt.

    I would be glad for any additional Information, as in when it might have been altered, and if iz was used mabe in WW2 as well?
