the word on that tag means "the pig feeding, squad 2""46886"..... they are absolutely traditional Chinese words but not Japanese words, the writing on the sling not sure but may also be Chinese means number 8 and 9...maybe a postwar early PRC army or Taiwan army logistic department(feeding the pigs) issued czech rifle. I speak Chinese and know about some Japanese

this rifle is absulute pre war stuff ,so the major question to me since this thread started how it ended in asia? Japan had good Arisakas so im very courios abaut history why they wanted to get some of vz24 ,i start to think in was realy Chinese import and later taken by Japanese troops ,but i wonder abaut amo for them in Japanes use .intersting it is no?
