    SS 98k, real or "created"

    Dear Forum Members,

    Please offer your expert opinions regarding this SS k98. Neither the seller nor I are confident it is the real deal.

    Please also let us all know why you see this ss 98k as either good or bad. I feel it is important to increase the expertise of our community.

    I think rifle is too late for these marks.

      For me it's a "export" K98 for the Turkey army and the ss-markings are later added. I don't think this is the real deal...

          This Rifle has been vetted at another forum already . With Pics from prior sale that shows no Frankenberry Heads and a different stock . Consensus was it had been enhanced somewhere along the way . Best Regards
