    holster

also wanted to mention that we never saw repro holsters this good 20 or 30 years ago. and even today the repros don't ever seem to come up to this standard.

I have never seen this code on a repro and also think it would be [pretty hard to get an italic KU with umlaut for the markings on the back.

the more I look at this one the more I think it's ok.
I have owned literally thousands of holsters and seen thousands more, examining the all with a keen eye and always been on the lookout for any good fakes.
That thick, industrial, straw colored, unwaxed thread on this one is not anything I've ever seen on a fake ever.

If I were a gambling man, I would bet a K date luger against a rusty mismatched CZ27 that this is a good holster and feel I was just taking your money.

Has anyone ever seen another holster with the Kü and the other marking?

Thanks for the replies folks . The second holster is one of mine - first is not . It is from a thread on Stills site and I have never seen anything like it myself but it had a Kü luger in it .

I posted it here to see if any luger gurus here had ever seen anything like it in hopes of shedding light on the " Kü " mystery .

I bit on the coastal artillery bit and was sent to my room without supper by the principal .

That said I think it is interesting but I am not into " Kü 's " and do not know much about them . IF REAL I agree it could help unlock some secrets .

The 2nd holster looks ok, from what I can see.

As for the Ku luger, search past threads. There is a long thread on them here from years ago. It's titled, "By request: The KU luger". Started in 2004. (boy I've been here a long time! lol)
          Good info to know!

As for ever seeing anything marked specifically for the Ku luger. No, but I do have a unmarked holster that is proofed with the Luftwaffe "LZA" marking. (same as found on the Ku lugers).
It's a P38 style break-away holster, but a Luger would definitely fit in it.(it is shown on the KU thread that I mentioned).

          Matt
