    Incredible picture !!! I wonder what configuration the C96 were; 9mm or 7.63? Looking at the muzzles I would guess 7.63?

      Those C96s were most probably part of the 14,000 or so pistols delivered to the Austrian-Hungarian Army during 1916-17 timeframe.

        I wonder if they were all synchronized to fire into the same spot at 100 meters or anything at all like that. Or if they just sprayed the sky with bullets in a general direction???

            Very cool photo!

            It's definitely WWI, and he is definitely sitting in the back seat of a bi-wing airplane. (tough to make out which plane from the photo though).
            Very interesting AA gun setup he has there!

            I wonder if anyone has this AA gun in their collection?
