    My very first luger ever!

I got this a long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away ) when it was not a major felony for a kid to pick one of these things up. Anyway it's just a common S/42 dated 1938 with the original holster and two matching magazines .

I thought it was cool that the serial number was the same as my date of birth!

Nice looking Luger. It's getting so you can't find "just a common S/42 dated 1938 with the original holster and two matching magazines" anymore, unless you fork over big $$$$. Thanks for all the guns you have been posting, it's a treat.

              Hi Gary,

              That was your first Luger...??!!
              Fantastic.... It is a beauty...

I much prefer the Lugers produced during the Thirties, the milling seems to be of a much higher quality.

I also have a nice 1936 S/42 with both matching mags, holster and tool.

              All the best,
              Steve.
