    I am wondering how much is the value of a equal numbered never messed with/ Blue finish full functional MP40 these day's ?

    Not from any norwegian army or something.

    I am hearing prises of $18.000 and same in Euro's..

    Is this true ?

    We like to know for the museum.

    Anyone ?

    Freshly deactivated ones go for € 2000 here in Europe. Some are very nice of those.

            i would guess around $16 to 17 k if you had the paper work in the usa. i have a mp40 tube gun from erb ,i trade a mp5sd about 10 years ago for it .the mp5 goes for around 30k ,the tube gun around 10k.talk about a good bussinessman ??

              Yes I heard in USA the prises are so high...

              The museum did get 2 from privates, and they are now registered as legal for the museum, but I'm hearing weird prises today about the value these days.

              In Netherlands is strictly forbidden to own one, only permitted for museums.

                  Due to the stranglehold put on newly acquired machine guns with the 1986 gun control act All full autos that are registered have gone up dramatically in price in the ensuing years. I'd estimate that $15,000 to $20,000 would be the going price on a registered MP 40 with an original receiver. A tube gun would be somewhat less.

                    Here is a pretty decent original WWII German issue MP-40 (all-matching numbers w/original finish) that sold at a well-publicized public auction a few weeks ago for $12,925 (this price being inclusive of the 17.5% buyer's premium).

                    The gun is a little rough on the finish and was missing the locking portion of the cocking handle on the bolt. Otherwise, it is 100% correct and original, so it will be a nice representative piece for the prevailing bidder.

                      Market price for MP40's in the Netherlands or perhaps europe is not much higher then deactivated ones. There is a very select few who can actually own them and that makes it hard to sell. I think 2500 euro would be the top price for the perfect, matching, mint mp40.
