Generic holster of period for Dreyse 1907 and Mauser 1914 & 1934. This one looks like it carried one of the Mausers.

I agree. I have this exact holster with it's R.F.V. marked Walther PP in it. Pistol is original to the holster. Vet bring back.

Whatever was carried in it,it was still produced for the police (police acceptance eagle B) to use with any of the mid sized frame pistols. This came with a PP magazine true, but the latching strap has been poorly replaced perhaps giving it more room for a larger frame pistol. Also the belt loop was torn and reattached with staples. Not a very attractive repair and takes away much of value whatever there is.

I would say it's a commercial holster for a Walther PP, as I don't see any police markings on it?

I agree with Joe that the repairs are very poorly done though. (belt loop and closure strap) You could have this professionally restored, and it would look much better.

Hello! Thanks to all for the opinions.
I think the repair is original to the period.
                        Why should I fix it?
                        Thanks!!!!

Looks like it was dyed. Probably got most of the wear and tear as well as the repair long after it left the military. No harm in restoring it.
