Question about selling a gun

I have a relic Japanese Nambu that I wish to sell. Since it is a relic, would I still need to ship it to a C&R of FFL if it were to sell?

Yes. If the receiver is intact it must go to a FFL. If the serial number has been removed it is illegal to possess.

Here is a picture of the gun. Upon disassembly, there is little pitting on the inside. Does anyone know where i can get a replacement trigger spring, grips, and magazine? That is all that is needed to make this gun functional.

Just an aside: even if the handgun receiver is completely disassembled it must be shipped to a dealer if shipped interstate, or if eligible, to a C+R FFL03. It is illegal for a non-licensee to ship a handgun or concealable weapon by USPS regardless of where it is going. Common carriers are the only alternative for shipping, and carriers like UPS and Fed-Ex require that handguns go 2nd day air.

Without seeing the side with the arsenal marks and serial number it's hard to tell what you have. A rarer gun might be worth rebuilding ,as was previously stated, finding some non-matching small parts. It looks rough to me, and another option is not to sell the receiver (which as Johnny stated correctly requires a FFL to transfer across state lines for Federal laws) but sell the rest of it that doesn't require a FFL. You see guys legally parting out the rest on E-Bay and Gunbroker all the time. Depending on what state you live in, you might be able to a face to face transfer to another resident of your state without a FFL being involved. You would have to research your state and local laws.

Just depends if you are just looking some money, or doing a restoration.
