    Erma AYF 42 flare gun opinions

    Hello,
    Just picked up this German flare gun
    Its marked AYF 42
    I know its made by Erma, and ive seen prices all over the board.
    What is the average value of it.
    Its in really nice shape
    The handles arent cracked, and it seems good and tight.
    Any opinions appreciated

          Hello, In USA, value from $150 to 250 in condition shown. I lean towards the higher value.

          Note, the hammer is early, the Lanyard is the later style, this is seen in the "i" serial number block occasionally.

            I am in agreement with Signalman's expert opinion. I picked up a similar condition ayf 42 only a few digits later for $240 including shipping.

            Though you can occasionally see them sell for $300 to $380, that is the exception, rather than the rule...at least in the past year....but prices do seem to be creeping up.
