Here's an interesting pistol I picked from a friend in a trade. It's a seldom seen Czech Cz 36 pistol in 6.35mm. I've had a couple of close encounters with pre 1945 Geco marked commercial '36's but I was always a couple of steps behind the guys who wound up buying them. This pistol was Czech Army accepted in 1937 and still has its original matching magazines. The 6.35 cartridge strikes me as being a bit anemic for frontline use so who in the Czech army might have been issued this diminutive pistol? Here are some pics.

Didn't know this gun and much less that it was purchased and issued to the Czech armed forces. I guess it's a rare variation. Besides that, it's a nice lookinglittle pistol and the two mathing mags are a premium.
