P38 holster with strange conversion

Original holster converted like this. Who did these conversions and when?

Obviously it comes to mind; who used P38s after the war? So it could be east German or even west German, but I have no idea???

Does anyone know?

I actually think it was the norweigans.

May I ask where in Scandinavia you are living (Sweden maybe? ) And if you got that holster yourself?

They used these in the Norwegian Army.

I visit Ring Knutstorp every year I didn't buy any of these holsters at the rally. I found 2 untouched original ones in good condition (one of them from a swedish seller), but they were hopelessly overpriced.

I still have my bmo41 holster though
