Not a period original AC40 P38 which also has had fake SS marks added. Run don't walk away from this mess.

Rusted, pitted, refinished, some defaced original markings with fake SS stamps added. Junk!

Period correct SS marked weapons exist. However, not all weapons used by SS orgs were SS marked. In any case, the SS markings on this P38 are fake.

Yes - absolutely refinished.

This ac40 was rusted and pitted, and reblued .

With the X under the serial number very likely a RC pistol as well.
