My BYF P38

I picked this Mauser P38 up at a local show this morning. The price was $450 and I was quite happy.

Unfortunately the grips are misfit. Julius POSSELT grips (five broken grooves in screw area) were delivered exclusively to Spreewerk factory in Grottau, Sudetengau (now and in prewar times Czech Republic). All other grips used by Mauser and Walther have six broken grooves in screw area. Nice pistol, matching grips are no problem.

Wow it looks like it's in very nice condition! Even the grips. I have an early 43 but my grips are not that nice. Take good care of your new P38.
