Another interest of mine is the French Indochina conflict, an issue weapon to paratroops from that conflict was the folding stock MAS36-CR39.
I've never seen one outside of a period photo....

Weapon dealers in the UK ( those that sell de-activated firearms) very seldom carry any French items at all. They don't think that the stuff is saleable....
It's sad to hear that they are being faked too.
Looking forward to seeing the MAS44 when time permits.
