    Unit Marked FN 1906

I got this a few days ago, with a G43. They were acquired by the mans father in WWII, he traded a soldier 10 packs of cigarettes for them. The FN is in great condition. The slide is marked " AP 216 ". Any ideas what it means ??

Not a German mark for sure.
Have no idea what is that, but your gun was made around 1925-1928.
