    k98 Variation, G29/40

Here is an interesting k98 variation, G29/40 rifle. The receiver is Polish. These receivers were obtained from the Radom factory in Poland in the early stages of the war. The receivers were shipped to Steyer for assembly into rifles to be accepted by the German army. Comments appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Eric

Notice that the Polish receiver is larger than the standard German k98 receiver.

Notice the large rivet on the bolt release, this is typical Polish receivers.
