    Walther holster and mag prices???

    Greetings All,

    Just curious if anyone could give me the going rate for an original good condition Walther PP holster? And I would like to purchase a wartime PP mag. I have been qouted $50 for the mag, and saw a poor to fair holster for $60.

    What are your thoughts on prices? Any good dealers out there?

    Hey Christopher,

    The mag price is about right for a VG condition one. As for the holster, you can still find good ones for 35-50 bucks. For any amount over that it would have to be a police marked holster and those can bring up to 125 for a real nice one.

      Christopher, Gary is right on the mag. A wartime banner PP mag is $50-60 bucks. As for the holster, I beg to differ a bit. Nice wartime proofed PP holsters are a bit tough to find. For every PP holster that I see, I find double that in PPK holsters. A lot of collectors confuse these with other holsters that are not made for a PP. Of all the Nazi pistols that I own and have purchased over the years, I believe that I only have bought 2 or 3 with the correct holster. One of them I got from my wife's uncle who took it from a young SS officer at Dachau. So my estimate of value for these is $75. -150.00. Jeff

        I agree with Jeff here. I only have 2 PP holsters. One is a Police marked one! (very scarce!), and the other is a "fkx4" marked one.

        Jeff is right, many collectors mistake another holster, such as a Sauer or HSc holster for a PP holster.
        I got one Sauer holster that the dealer was selling as a PP holster, and he swore it was for a Walther PP, since a PP fit inside the holster! I then showed him the dimpled mag pouch, a telltale sign of a Sauer 38 magazine, and showed him that the Sauer 38 fit in it just as good, if not better! Needless to say, he lowered his price, and sold it to me as a Sauer holster!

        Besides Police PP holsters, the next hardest one to find is the Luftwaffe drop holsters for the PP.
