Zf4 scope with mount and bracket

Mount and bands are reproductions. Note that they even screwed one band from the different side. And the mount has not the curve in the arms as an original would have.

I don't believe the "swept back" mount ever made it into production, so yeah this would be a copy.....From what I can see, the Zf4 scope looks to be okay....Bodes

The swept back mount did make it into production, just not in huge quantities hence why they are very rare today!

this scope is a repro. they are made by the Meopta company. they are dead give a way's simply by the engraving on the scope and they NEVER bead blasted the scopes for final finish. they sell the same scope on Amazon and Gun Parts Corporation.

Also a swept mount shouldn't have the little latch intended for the notch on the rail, as at this point the rail didn't have a notch!!

Just so you all know the reason these are so good is the fact they made them during the war. Dow was a Czech optics firm... Used by the Germans. they made zf41, zf4, zf39 scopes and 6x30 binos. And more stuff Im sure.
Meopta is their commercial post war name. I think the earlier zf4's that numrich was selling was a smooth bodies type made in china along with the zf41 scopes.
