CZ 24 or 27 trade for Heer dagger

Brother in law of a large family got one item from his father. Each kid got something.
This is a CZ24 or 27. I do not see a WaA on the right side. One of the other kids wants to possibly do a trade. The Army Dagger with a somewhat rarer maker on it. Anyone care to comment on value of the one versus the other?
    And desirability?
Which is he better off with?
I am going to do a cross-connection to the dagger forum.
    Thanx,
    Tim

That is a very nice condition CZ24, with the correct holster. The holster strap needs reattaching, but it is otherwise good.

So it is a CZ24, as I suspected. War souvenir bringback. No capture papers. In .32/7.65.

Actually, it should be in .380/9mm short.

Thanx. Never cared for the CZ series myself and haven't seen it in 5 years.

I think the pistol would be the rarer of the two. But with one is more desirable is another question. I'd say the one you like the best is the one to keep.

I agree. The CZ24 is quite collectable, that one is particularly nice. Most I've seen are in rough condition.

I'd keep the pistol. But then again, I'm not a dagger man.

Tim - I agree with Brian about keeping the pistol - however as you know I am a firearms rather than dagger collector.

                              a cz24 should be in 308 or 9mm short. A cz27 is in .32acp

There is a transition period where the 27 has forward raked slide serrations as that is usually the easiest way to tell them apart. This fools us at times.
The whole rig with mags might sell in the 400.00 range if you can find a buyer.
The dagger shown is a piece of junk sorry to say. Hope you didn't trade for that.

Heer daggers are so common go for condition above all else..
