    G43 or MP28?

so i have a dilema. I have a REALLY nice G43 its a duv 44 with an early serial number, durofol handguard, and apfetor shooters kit. But my dilema comes in to play because someone wants to trade me for a semi-auto MP28. I love the G43, but im a HUGE fan of early style SMGs. What is your guy's opinion?

Are both in working condition? Is the MP all original or has been altered a lot (receiver changed). If you like it and it is in original condition...you just choose what you like best.

I would ask myself: what would be easier to replace/found another?
Although I do not live in US, I guess that finding a working and matching G43 is easier than a working MP28II. However there are other points to asses as Carles said above.

I agree. You can easily find G43 and very often matching and in nice collectible condition. MP28 not too easy even reworked to semi auto.

Semi MP28 for sure. Closed bolt and 16” barrel or sbr? You have any pics? There can’t be very many semi Mp28s out there.

MP28 is definitely more scarce! But the parts kits are not hard to find, is it a German MP28 or one of the Belgian Leige-proofed ones? There are a ton of the Leige mp28 kits floating around and they are usually cheaper than a G43 - a german marked one would be a little more special.
