    1918/20 Erfurt Luger

    I have a 1918/20 Erfurt Luger with some markings below the rear sight which I belive to be regimental markings. Is this luger any rare? The barrel is marked waA623, how does this affect the collectors value of the gun?

    It's something of a parts Luger, rebuilt a couple of times. Front sight is postwar, for a target shooter, and the rear notch opened to a square profile. The holster looks like new, the belt straps don't look right for Weiss. Does the leather have a new smell?

      The holster is a genuine german one but it was used by the Norwegian army after the war which replaced the belt straps with american ones. It has since been painted black over its original brown color and sewn on new straps.
