    MG42 Help!!!Crack the Riddle!!!!

    Hello my Friends.

currently i work at my new project and i need help from the MG42 collectors.
in my new comparison i want to try to solve the riddle about the MG42 Kurvenstücke (in english: breach bracket block ).
i want to know what producer had taken which Kurvenstücke and so i want to crack the Codes.
for this project i need pictures from the built Kurvenstücke on the MG42`s.i need pics from all sites and all markings.
i have so many pictures from MG42 in the database but the problem is that i dont have pics from all sites of the Kurvenstücke.
    please write me a PM.

Thank you very much for your Help!!!!

Hardest riddle, at least for me, has been trying to figure out what part do you mean.

I think you're after pictures of the bolt, am I correct:

        Hello Make.
I mean the riveted part in the middle of a MG42 receiver. That part where you assemble the feed tray and the topcover.
        In german: Kurvenstück.

        Regards NORDLAND

Do you mean top cover? No?

Heh, I asked my german-speaking friend, if he knew what Kurvenstück means, and he didn't know...

              Ah, ok.
Actually mine does not seem to have any stamps/markings on it.
What angle should the picture be?

I knew that I get support here!!!
pics like this is what i need for my comparison.the serialnumber were very helpful for me.but let me guess. Its a "DF-ar" from the d-serial with a serialnumber under 1000 or from "c-serial" over 9000.
when you want then write me a PM if you dont want show it here.

                  Many many Thanks to you!!!!

                      PM sent.

Even though I think that's not going to help with your riddle.

Have you consulted Folke Myrvang's book yet? No doubt the answer to your question is contained therein.

                            Hi,
just ask forum member Searchandfind. He hast enough database about the Kurvenstücke and their differences. There are no "undisclosed secrets" about it.
                            Regards,
                            Haubi
