What is this guy holding?

Some Moro independent terrorist outfit in Mindanao. The guy on the left has an M16, the guy on the right is holding a BM59 (I think) but what is the guy in the middle got? Some kind of machine pistol, but what??

I'd have to guess that by the lack of finish, and the rough metal working, that it's some sort of homemade machine pistol. Hope I could help!

Left to right, looks like: Colt model 639 (Export version of XM177E2), indigenous Philippine 9mm submachine gun (common, they've been making these things for 50 years or so), and a garden variety US M14 in an aftermarket stock that looks like the old Choate side folding version.

OK, I'll go with that. I had originally thought M14 but I knew that the BM59 was a firearm that was exported a lot more then the M14. Of course, it being the Phllippines, I should have remembered that we gave them a lot of small arms and other heavier stuff when we left.
