d block ac42 P38 with custom grips ?

Just looked at this and the owner said it came to him 40+ years ago just like this . Normal ac 42 all proper with matching #'s except a post war mag . Finish is about 85% and the bore is worn some and frosted .

Real question is the grips and the party badge is a real looking one . Did not take the grips off and the brown regular grips are electro-penciled with the same name and SS lah .

Any thoughts ? He was seeking opinions - not really trying to sell it .

Same artist was referenced on Still's site . IMHO it is just a decent ac42 that needs grips and a mag . I told the owner I would get opinions on it and that's why it's here . Notice there is no BS story with it .

Seems to me this is the site where I have seen reference to finding out if this guy was real and if yes a LSSAH member ?

Plastic grips are newer than the gun also . GOOD thing is it is still a decent matching ac42 .
