A family Reunion

to celebrate the arrival of my K43 I arranged a family reunion on the couch at home.

In addition to the Grandfather (LP08) and Grandmother (P08) there were those Austrian cousins (M95 and S100) and that weird Japanese guy (Arisaka) that no-one invited.

Very nice! Are the mgs and mps semi, dummy or the real deal??

The MG's are demil, the bolts are shaved and there's a pin in the barrel of both. The MP's are a mixed bag. I had to have the MP41 murdered (I know), the MP40 is semi, the 44 and the 34 are demil's but working actions.

Up here, unless you owned the weapon in 1998 you are SOL for so-called prohibited weapons, and then only if they were passed down from family.

The Arisaka was one of those days when you are in an auction and nobody bids. I picked it up for loose change but it has a mum and a nice original sling so I kept it around.

Now to find a G41 and an MP38. I have a line on an Erma MP35 but the guys just wants too much for it (2800).

Are you guys still getting imported original german or russian captured stuff? Whats the going rate on the firing guns in original condition? What about the Demils?

All of that has dried up here from import, and when you do find it, its demilled to a bag of scrap.
