I am looking for some guidance on the value of a K98 BYF 41 code. All major parts matching, solid wood stock in 85% and metal in 90%, barrel looks bright. Did not gauge the barrel. My understanding is BYF is the most common but a 41 date would be good. Please let me know.

A nice byf41 would run $2500 plus if really nice and all matching.
Byf is common, but 41 isn't super common.
You'd need to know what matches and the condition. -

If you want valid input here you must get good, detailed pics of all markings and stamps. There is a great deal of "humping" and messed with rifles need close examination. Good luck.Comment
