    Hi there,

Here's my latest addition to my humble weapons collection.
Not that spectacular, but nice anyway

          Kris,
Nice pistol and glad you posted... do it often! I like these little guys they have not always gotten the attention they deserve but as all the p38's and lugers etc. get placed into collections you watch these and the browning 1922's will start getting attention.

I have a some and I bet that " Jan " could tell use all a few things about them, anyway keep those threads coming!

Very nice P27. Can't read the serial number, but appears to be an early one, since it has the milled sideplate with screw, and high polish finish.

These are great little guns. Very robust, and great shooters too. As I've said before, there are many variations to P27s, (Police, Military, commercial, "fnh" slide, high polish, matte blue, phosphate), and different holsters as well!

You could start a collection of just P27s, and it would be a fairly large grouping!

              Matt

PS- I just couldn't resist posting up my "eagle/K" police P27, with "fnh" slide. These are extremely rare! Sorry guys, but this one is "on hold" already as well!

                Hey Kris,

                Very nice pistol!
What 's the price for such a piece in the states? "just to know"

Regards and happy New Year to All Collectors,

                FRANK

                  Frank,

Most of the common military and commercial ones can be found for under $300. Early ones (like Kris' above), with high polish finish, will sometimes bring more, and also the later ones with phosphate finish may bring a bit more.

A Police marked one, with "fnh" slide, like the one pictured above bring a premium price. I just sold this one today, for an undisclosed amount, but it was over 4 figures!

                  Matt
