These are Dsm-34's, and I have to say I have owned many of them, but never encountered that particular JGA marking on that reciever.

Nice rifle, they are very fine indeed!!

      DSM 34s

I have some DSM 34s.. All in .22 cal. The KdF rifles look like DSM 34s but are not marked DSM 34. They were known in Germany as the JGA Buscher Sportmodell the Crest on the chamber is not one of the JGA (Anschutz) Organization, but of the KdF and under the KdF crest it translates PROPERTY OF SPORTS GROUP.. I will post some DSM 34s, KKWs and other .22s at a later date. BILL

        Hi Bill,
I would be curious to know what the serial number is on your KdF trainer. I also have one of these Buscher Sportmodells with the same receiver markings, but the barrel and receiver bridge are marked differently. The barrel is marked identically to yours with the exception of the 2nd line. The J.G.A. has been omitted and says only Germaniawaffenwerk and the Zella Mehlis address. I have attached a picture of the receiver bridge to compare with yours. My serial number is 10983. Thanks....

Bill - With your kind permission, I will take more pictures tomorrow and post them here. Without your invitation to do so, I would not have posted further for fear of it appearing to be an attempt to hijack your very interesting thread. BTW, keep this neat stuff from your collection coming. "I love it!"

Here is the left side of mine. I've got to get a wide angle lens for my digital camera. I really have a tough time taking pics of long guns & swords. If you can, zoom in on these. I have been a member of BCN since 1999 and of the KCN from 1990 until it shut down.

Superb rifles Denny and Bill! I have a friend nearby with one of these. It is extremely accurate, even out to 200 meters.
