P 08 Questions (fakes?)

Greetings All,

I purchased for my dad a P08 mag with a stamp of an eagle and 37 under it. The mag bottom appears to be aluminum or some other dull silver metal. Where was the mag made? I have heard that folks just slap together patrs and sell them.

I also purchased a take-down tool that is stamped with the eagle and 85 under it. Where was it made?

And finally dad has a 1917 Erfurt that was reworked by the police. The gun is all matching. The mag bottom is a black plastic with the matching numbers stamped on. The holster and tool are also numbered and matched. The holster is a reddish brown hardshell, on the back is scratched "Runge" (with the quotation marks). What is Runge? The name of the policeman that carried it or German for range perhaps? Mein deutsche ist nicht sehr gut.

The magazine/clip wouild have been made by Haenel, in Suhl.

I have never heard of an 85 stamped tool.
Is the eagle 'stick' or 'droop' winged.
For 'stick' winged it should be either 63 or 655 or 135
For 'droop' winged it should have 211 or 63.
