    Cz-27

I'm primarily a badge/medal collector, but I picked this up over the weekend as I venture into collecting the various pistols used by German forces during WW2. Based on my research, this isn't a particularly remarkable pistol, but I do like the design and compact proportions. This one has the WaA76 waffen proof on the side and top of the slide and the eagle/swastika stamped into the barrel. Thanks for taking a look.

An early pistol in pretty good condition. These are header to find than then the later fnh marked ones.

I plan to do more research on the manufacture of these pistols. This one did appear to be an earlier production model, but I liked it mainly because of the honest wear. I know condition sells, but I prefer an item to appear as if it was actually used.

Take a Beretta, a Walther PP, and a CZ out to the range....you would be amazed at the accuracy of the CZ compared to the rest. I did a field test on beer cans in Utah, and the CZ was comfort, accurate, and less felt recoil than all of them.....a very impressive pistol.....I have owned quite a few. The key one IMO is the police eagle/K.....a rare gun.

Thanks for all of the replies/observations. All numbers match, which was an important consideration for me. Originality over condition. I am still not sure if I will actually shoot it since I consider it a relic and collectible.

I finally got the pistol stripped, cleaned, oiled, and reassembled. I wanted to post one final photograph of the simple wooden display that I will keep it in. I thought the Sudetenland campaign medal in parade mount would be a simple, fitting addition. Glass lid is open due to reflections ruining my already marginal photography skills. Thanks for the comments.
