    Relics From Berlin

These were found in Berlin long ago. The rifle and bayonet was on Rose range and the other on Andrews barracks.

Relics, but interesting. Silent witnesses of the cruel battle.

I really enjoy relics. To me they speak of the history.

I agree, they speak and even scream sometimes. Great pieces.

Back in the mid 1980's I used practically all my spare time metal detecting and digging up ghost from the past. At the old Rose Range in Berlin I found several pistols still in their holsters.
Fighting positions could still be clearly seen all along a ridge line. I found this Mauser and had someone make the grips.
I have the earlier posted relics for sell at ebay item numbers 161629972760 and 161629994450.

I'm sure this question has been asked before.

Have they ever dredged the Spree and Havel rivers in Berlin?

I can only imagine what they have (or would) find from the war.
