    WH Training rounds?

These came with a bunch of WWII German items. The black round is marked but the red one and the rounds/clip are not. In the US Army we had similar rounds for testing M 60s and M-16s but I have never seen German ones like this. Can someone help me to figure out what they are. Thanks,

The red and black plastic rounds are used for training.....It allows a soldier to manipulate the weapon and dry fire without potential damage to the rifle's firing pin....Bodes

Thanks, that is what I suspected they were. We used ones in the US Army that were for the same purpose.

Those plastic ones are drill training rounds, as mentioned. One is stamped EX. for exercise, that is the equivalent as drill. Here is a larger 5cm tank round also stamped EX.
