Please enjoy this Elusive German rifle (The Steyr Luftwaffe Carbine). Based on a prewar Steyr model 29 that was supplied to Columbia.. Over the years I have seen this Rifle designation mis-quoted in many publications, called a 29/40, 29(p), 29(o). The closest would be a 29(o). I have never seen a German manual on this rifle. But some years ago there was a German publication detailing the Luftwaffe Carbine and how Goering Had it put into production only for the Luftwaffe, and the nomenclature was simply 'Luftwaffe Karbine'.. BTW, I have emptyed my mailbox, so you can send me a PM now. Sorry for the trouble Sir!!

P.S. What is the mark over the "660" on the receiver??The probability of being watched is directly proportional to the stupidity of your act.

A few years ago I passed up one of these Karbines because the bore was horrible. Gun was all matching about 90% finish. It looked pretty nice on the outside. Anyway the next day I realized my error and went back. Of course, it was sold. Nice gun Bill
