ya, going off what I have seen in the past and know from experience.
Make an offer. A real offer and let it lay. You never know.
I know a guy offered a vg2 and crazy retail #'s were mentioned and he made an offer. A month later the guy came back and accepted.
The rarer the item the shorter the list of potential buyers there are.
The owner must have seen the RIA post auction results.
I feel 20k might be a reasonable price ?

Wow! Sweet piece. Even $20k would be beyond my reach.......but then again I thought the 10k I recently spend was ridiculous a year ago.....lol you'd definitely be the only kid on the block with one of those.Comment

30-40k is way out of the stratosphere for this gun..about 8 years ago when guns were still commanding high prices, this gun sold in auction setting for 18k. It was in far better shape than this one.
Also friend of mine bought one at the Knob creek machine gun show a few years back in this condition for 14k
Since the market has been soft for collectibles the last few years, you may get on the high-end 12k to the guy who really has to have this in his collection, In this conditionComment
