This is a textbook slabside VK -98. Muzzle is counter bored. All matching. Made by Steyr.

Great looking rifle, thanks for sharing. I've been looking to add one of those to my collection but haven't come across one for sale. These are harder to find than VG-1's.

I guess it just depends on what circles you travel.. I have seen far more vk98's for sale over the years than VG1's...

PS nice rifle jack. I really like the variants with the slab side stock..

Maybe so, I have not come across one for sale yet and I attend a lot of shows.
I have come across 5 VG-1's.

I rarely drool on my self (makes me look my age ) but, this is a sweet rifle.
never had the chance to touch one ,let alone chance to buy one.
