Amen to that; a very thorough job.

Willi -I was zipping through the show trying to sell some stuff for a friend. Every time I was near your table you were engaged with someone. When are you moving out my way ?

What a great find. Coincidently I was just reading about these crude VS rifles on the web a couple of days ago.

I love the last ditch stuff too. The end of the war is much more interesting than blitzkreig for me.

Pitfighter... I think that was a funny

Pit....Actually there was an AMISH PARA COMMANDO UNIT in WW2. Being as they spoke German they could blend right in with the natives. Now let me tell you about a great piece of Ocean Front property , I have for sale, in Arizona. Will give you a great deal on it..... How is the collection going? Haven't heard from you in awhile.......BILL

I did get a chance to look last night, one of mine is an srg, a little earlier serial number than yours.

                                All good Billy,

It is certainly a terrific looking rifle (Amish Spec Ops barn building unit or not?), there is something about the late war firearms, that speaks volumes about the drama of the time -

My collection is good - mainly MP44 related.
                                This is a recent find.
I have stopped (not actively) posting pics of my guns on line - but as you ask

Clear lacquer over steel in the white -

No ramp on the unfinished wood stock -

                                No shoulder grooves -
