K98 Sniper ZF short rail question

Gents,

Can a BCD/AR 42 rifle have an original mounted type 3 short rail mount ?
Does a type 3 short rail mount have waa markings... and if yes where would they be located ?

I have some doubts about it. It's not mine nor my cup of tea.
There are to many waa markings for my liking. Am I wrong or just paranoid.

Bcd/ar only show up as zf41 in terms of snipers as far as I know.

And I believe these guns were coded bcd (gustloff)then supplied to ar(borsigwalde) to finish and they didn't build any SSR as far as I've seen.

scope is a post war Zeiss and all were featherlight models. this one has had the rail removed to be used with this mount.

I've seen this k98 before, it had less stamps on the mount than on the pics now, exact same rifle number.
