What would be a reasonable value on this?

Very few parts are actually stamped, and they don't match. Some bubba scratched 'serials' on these parts, and apparently stamped it into the stock as well. The barrel has an importers mark on in.

Is the sling a repro or foreign made? Thanks

It is a Russian Capture rifle. They go for $250-$350.

Sling is a repro.
Sleep tight as no bubba messed with this rifle.
It's just a russian capture (note the X ) and they electro stenciled the numbers in the metal parts and stock to match the serial of the rifle.
Do a search on russian captured 98k and you will find more info.
All in all a nice shooter probably worth a couple of hundred dollars.

Thanks all, I had no idea. I'm not a gun guy and now have three of these rifles to figure out! I looked into RC rifles and it looks like at least this is a nice example of one.
