L block qve45 K43 Made shortly after they went to qve. duv44 j block, qve45 k block, qve45 l block, qve45 a block.

Did you say VoPo numbers ? So the K43 was used by the East German Army or Volks Polizei ? Wow I never knew that.

Excuse my ignorance but these rifles are prohibited where I live.

Yes the east germans used them. As I understood it they were issued to frontier border police. It has an added sunburst proof on the stock , and one maxi firing proof has been over struck with a sunburst.
